Westminster at Home Welcomes Cherie Nash as New Administrator

January 24, 2023

The Westminster Canterbury Home Health and Hospice division (Westminster at Home) is excited to announce the promotion of Cherie Nash, COTA, to its top position of Administrator.

In her new role, Ms. Nash will oversee the daily operations of Westminster at Home’s renowned team of at-home caregivers, including nurses, aides, therapists, chaplain, social worker and outreach coordinator.  As the Administrator for Westminster at Home, Ms. Nash will also be responsible for planning, organizing and developing initiatives and programs in accordance with all state and federal mandates, in addition to maintaining the supreme level of personalized patient care that has earned Westminster Canterbury it’s reputation as the region’s preeminent continuum care community for the last 40+ years.

Prior to being selected for Westminster at Home’s chief leadership position, Cherie enjoyed 10+ years with increasing levels of responsibility as Westminster Canterbury’s Rehabilitation Manager.  Throughout that decade of service, Ms. Nash quickly rose through the ranks, handling her rehab manager duties and assisting the prior Administrator with various tasks, where her management and leadership skills, paired with her exceptional patient-centered care giving methods were on full display, earning the respect of her coworkers, colleagues and clientele alike.

“I’ve never regarded our roles as caregivers to be work, certainly not in the way that many people feel about their jobs,’” says Nash.  “Our patients become our family, and as a result, we feel honored they have chosen us to assist them in their time of medical need.  I am excited to continue extending our unique brand of care and compassion to our beloved residents and patients alike.  Our recent personnel additions ensure we will be properly staffed and expertly positioned to grow the Westminster at Home brand throughout our community in the immediate future and beyond.”

When not working, Cherie enjoys spending time with her family, and an occasional getaway to the beach with her three daughters, Emma, Marie and Annie.  Ms. Nash is also the proud grandmother of 2 year-old Roman and 3 month old Thea.
